HR 43
The HR 43 is a Germán Frers design
introduced as a 2002 model. The
boat is typical Hallberg-Rassy, with a Lloyd's CE certificate category A for
unlimited ocean voyages. It features the trademark HR windscreen and teak
decks, and mahogany interior. All are sloops. The interior may be modified for each owner,
with either a double berth or two single berths in the aft cabin, and two
settees or a settee and two chairs in the main saloon. The underbody is a
fin with skeg hung, partially balance rudder.

Hardtop option and interior plan w/two easy chairs and wide berth in aft cabin.
Debuted at the 2002 Annapolis Boat Show. Mast height is a bit of an issue for
the ICW - 63.5'plus VHF antenna, etc.

Cruising Bahamas Feb & Mar04. Mast at 19.35 metres(63.5FT.)OK for ICW if you
replace tall fibreglass type with Metz whip type(touches now and again!) We did
anchor twice Feb of 03 awaiting tide for bridge clearance when in doubt.
