HR 53
The HR 53 was designed by Germán Frers. They are a very beautiful center
cockpit sloop, with the traditional HR fixed windshield and raised teak decks.. They
feature a moderate fin keel with a semi-balanced rudder on a partial skeg.

1998 - with interruptions. Our route: Sweden, Norway, down to the Canaries, Guadeloupe, US
Virgins, down to Venezuela and up again to the Dominican Republic, The Bahamas, Florida
and up the East Coast to Maine. Ship actually in Essex, Connecticut and both of us
